African hardwood planks are made from recycled industrial shipping pallets. When de-constructed, there are many species of wood that come in a wide variety of colors and textures. Colors can range from cream whites, golden yellows, amber, mahogany and various brown tones. Available on smooth or naturally textured face with clear, Ash, or dark Brown finish.
Reclaimed marks may be apparent, such as nail holes, staining and surface checking. Voids up to 3/16″ allowed and not filled. These tongue and groove planks are constructed in two layers. The sawn strip wear-layer (approximately 3/16″) is fused to a 3-ply plywood backing. Plank dimensions are 5/8” thick, 5 1/2” wide, in random lengths 2’ to 8’.
