Western Maple Plank
Western Maple Plank (face grain style) wood tables and counter tops are built with parallel strips varying in width, typically 4" to 6". Western maple is native to the Pacific NW. The wood varies from reddish white, sometimes with a grayish cast, to a light pinkish-brown. Much of the wood is straight grained but can include figuring such as wavy, quilted, fiddle-back or birds-eye grain patterns. Our tops are made to order with curving and shaping available upon request. Staggered joints may be included for tops longer than 8'.
