D3 PANELS
D3= Douglas Fir’s third life.First, it was a tree. Then it was a structural beam. Now it’s an architectural panel. What will this panel become? That is up to you. In addition to affixing directly to walls and ceilings, D3panels are reception and bar fronts, benches, booth backs with upholstery, suspended ceiling panels, café clouds, and shaped fins, room dividers, and shelving. Panels can be engraved and painted. D3 Panels are made from reclaimed Douglas Fir solid, and glue laminated beams sourced from the Pacific NW. Available in panels and full sheets.

Material and Surface
Janka hardness scale 540 –710
Panels may include aluminum metal shavings or staples in the reclaimed wood face or back layers. Standard reclaimed marks (nail holes, ferrous staining, glue lines, and occasional bolt holes) will be apparent. Voids allowed up to 1/8” allowed and not filled.
This comes to us in the raw reclaimed wood we source every day. We have processed this wood with aluminum in it in our wood working machines safely. Typical woodworking blades can be used to further process the panels during installation without harm to the operator or tools.
