About Us
In December 1996 an ice storm downed acres of trees in the Pacific Northwest. In response, four wood-focused friends purchased a portable mill and began turning the fallen timber into lumber for people across the region, thus, Windfall Lumber got its start.
For 25 years Windfall has been bringing warmth and character to interior spaces. We design and manufacture beautiful, sustainably sourced architectural wood products in Washington State, for projects across North America, including hospitality, multi-family, corporate, healthcare, and educational interiors.
Expertise and Sustainability
Over time Windfall developed expertise in producing architectural panels, cladding, custom stair treads and tables for commercial and residential interiors. We offer architects and designers an array of wood products, both standard and custom, with creative textures and finishes for their projects.
In 2019 Windfall Lumber became Windfall Architectural Products to more accurately reflect our work with our ever-expanding collection of products. In keeping with our original ethos, many of our products are crafted with sustainably sourced materials and finished with No and Low-VOC stains and varnishes.
