Windfall’s end-grain tabletops and countertops are made with reclaimed Douglas fir, gluing many woodblocks together with the end-grain facing up. While less structurally integral than side-grain or plank construction, the unique checkerboard pattern creates unforgettable texture and line. Windfall recommends full support of this product up to a minimum of 2 ½” from the edge.
